ART&FLEX | movement

ART&FLEX is a movement for dance, art and education, born in Izola, Slovenia, and growing beyond borders.

We believe that art is more than a form of expression — it is a way of connecting people, sharing ideas, challenging perspectives and creating meaningful experiences together.

ART&FLEX brings people, disciplines and creative practices together through dance, movement, workshops, performances, theatre, events and educational experiences. We create opportunities for both professionals and amateurs to explore, learn, exchange knowledge, experiment and express themselves.

Learning and sharing are at the heart of what we do.

Through workshops, educational programmes, creative laboratories and encounters with artists and professionals from different fields, we encourage curiosity, artistic development and the continuous exchange of knowledge. We believe that learning happens not only through teaching, but also through experiencing, questioning, experimenting and creating together.

We want to make artistic knowledge accessible, inspire new ways of thinking and provide space for people at different stages of their creative journeys to grow.

Our vision is to build an open and connected creative community where people meet, collaborate and inspire one another. A space where artistic disciplines intersect, new ideas take shape and creativity has room to grow. We encourage collaboration between artists, educators, professionals, emerging talents and anyone who feels drawn to explore the world of art.

We believe in the power of coming together — in learning from one another, crossing boundaries and creating something that goes beyond the individual.

Rooted in Slovenia, ART&FLEX aims to connect people and creative communities across the country and beyond, reaching neighbouring countries such as Italy and Croatia and building bridges between different cultures, backgrounds and artistic perspectives.

We are here to move ideas, connect people and let art grow.

ART&FLEX is not just something we do. It is something we build, share and become part of.
