Dance and Movement Workshops for Children aged 3–5

Creative dance and motor skills exercises

Children need opportunities to explore their own bodies, express emotions, and develop creativity. Together we will create a warm and safe space where we grow physically and mentally through play, dance, and movement.

Dance is something we carry within us. It is important that we have the freedom to feel the inner rhythm of our heart. When we add music, the body naturally responds, and each of us creates our own unique dance. Our role in this course is to encourage children to express themselves through movement and to support them in discovering their own dance language.

Together we will embark on a magical journey full of creativity, connection, cooperation, and above all, lots of laughter. Every child will have the opportunity to discover and develop their talent. You are warmly invited to join us and create unforgettable dance moments together!

DANCE AND MOVEMENT 6/8 YEARS OLD

Variety of Dance Techniques and Creativity

Welcome to our dance and movement workshops, where we explore different dance techniques while encouraging the creative and expressive side of dance. At this age, children are already developing their identity, which is why it is important for them to be introduced to various dance styles such as jazz, modern dance, contemporary dance, and classical ballet. At the same time, we also focus on developing creativity in dance by creating intention, descriptions, and stories for each movement.

We will learn the basics of each dance technique and discover how to use the body as a tool for expression. Every movement will tell its own story, and through the creation of original dance sequences we will encourage children’s imagination and creativity. Dance is not only movement – it is a way of expressing and telling stories without words.

 

We invite all young dancers to join us on this dance journey, where we combine technique, creativity, and the joy of dance. Each child will have the opportunity to explore and express their feelings and ideas through movement, while also learning to appreciate and respect the diversity of dance expression. Let’s discover the magic of dance together and create beautiful dance moments that will stay in our hearts for a long time.

WHY IS BALLET TEHNIQUE IMPORTANT?

Ballet technique is important in dance for several reasons:

  1. Body alignment: Ballet technique teaches correct body alignment, helping maintain good posture and prevent injuries.
  2. Strength and flexibility: It includes exercises that build muscle strength and increase flexibility, which are essential for performing demanding dance movements.
  3. Coordination: Ballet consists of complex movements and combinations that require strong body coordination.
  4. Aesthetics: Ballet technique includes elements such as port de bras (arm movement) and expressive facial work, contributing to the overall aesthetic quality of dance.
  5. Discipline: Ballet is a highly structured dance style that requires consistent practice and perseverance to achieve technical precision.

For this reason, knowledge of ballet technique is beneficial in other dance styles as well, as it improves technique, strength, and elegance in movement.

Through their own creativity, we discover and support their development. By using creative expression, sensory approaches, music, and play, we strengthen self-confidence, extend attention span, balance the mind, and allow children’s inner potential to express itself through fine motor skills, singing, and movement.

 

We allow our senses to become part of us, letting our talents come to the surface. In a pleasant and supportive atmosphere, we break down boundaries and personal limitations.
