Zaslužijo si pozornost, saj so nenadomestljiv del kulturne

They deserve recognition as they represent an irreplaceable part of cultural heritage. SLEDI
Ples vabi občinstvo k razmisleku o krhkem ravnovesju med upiranjem in sprejemanjem in kritično preučuje pomen osebnih meja v človeških odnosih.
Predstava je primerna tudi za mlajše občinstvo.

TRACES
Traces is a duet dance piece that delves into the complex dynamics of human relationships. What begins as a simple, playful interaction soon transforms into a dynamic exchange, where each movement becomes both a response and a challenge to the other. Within this shared space, their bodies become tools for experimentation—testing boundaries, embracing vulnerability, and discovering new dimensions of trust. As they explore the delicate balance between autonomy and cooperation, they reveal deeper layers of how our connections with others can shape and reshape us in unexpected and meaningful ways.
The performance invites the audience to reflect on the fragile balance between resistance and acceptance, while critically examining the importance of personal boundaries in human relationships.
The piece is also suitable for younger audiences.

WHAT WE HOLD INSIDE (odlomek)
Koreografija, izvedba: Eva-Maria Schaller

WHAT WE HOLD INSIDE (excerpt)
Reflecting on the complexity of the world we live in today, this dance performance returns to what we all share: the body and its innate intelligence, its capacity to perceive and feel, and its potential for communication.
I have a body — but who is the one speaking? Confronted with an ever-changing and exponentially expanding digital environment, and with the question of how artificial intelligence is transforming the ways we think and remember, this performance explores—on a personal and poetic level—the relationship between body and mind, between consciousness and movement. Who is this dancing self, and what does it communicate? Which cultural imprints do we reveal along the way?
As the performer circles around these questions, she merges and connects movement and voice into a unique performative “language”: a dance of associations and references—from familiar and unfamiliar movements and gestures to sounds and singing that gradually shift into speech—unfolds, while recognizable forms and meanings slowly rise to the surface.
Oscillating between movement and voice, between the inner and the outer, the dancer creates a finely attuned cosmos in dialogue with her surroundings and the live musical composition. Layer by layer, she reveals to the audience how inner processes of thinking and feeling take shape.

POVODNI MOŽ AMBROŽ / WATER MAN AMBROŽ
O predstavi
Ambrož živi v svetu, v katerem ni nobenih strojev, nobenih tovarn in nobenih trgovin. Vse, kar potrebuje, raste in plava v njegovem jezeru. A kje naj jo najde?
Nika Arhar, Martina Peštaj in Adriana Gaberščik, mnenje strokovne komisije platforme Zlata Paličica.
About the Performance
Ambrož lives in a world without machines, factories, or shops. Everything he needs grows and swims in his lake. To keep himself entertained, he teases fishermen and plays with aquatic animals and objects that people from the land throw into his lake.
But when a shoe falls into the water—different from the one already lying at the bottom—Ambrož suddenly remembers something important. Before leaving him to swim in warmer waters, his parents told him he must find a wife; otherwise, their lineage would come to an end. But where can he find her? There are far fewer water people than land people, and Ambrož does not know a single water woman.
So he ventures onto land, where the world is very different. People there wear clothes, drink strange liquids instead of water, and do things Ambrož finds completely incomprehensible. To avoid frightening them, he wraps himself in their clothes and pretends to be one of them. Even so, he does not dare approach any land woman—until one asks him to unclog her drain, through which she dumps all the waste from her house directly into the river. Ambrož feels this is wrong, but if he wants to win her favor, he has no choice but to help.
Yet when he dives into the river to clear the drain, he meets someone who strongly disagrees with his involvement in poisoning the river.
Excerpts from Reviews
“The performance The Water Man Ambrož entertains while stimulating children’s curiosity and creativity … It clearly highlights the reality that humans are not endangered by the world, but are themselves the source of pollution and waste that threaten and destroy the innocent lives of other inhabitants of our peaceful and colorful Earth. From an early age, the younger generation must be made aware of this harsh truth, which is thoughtfully and appropriately presented to children through the well-constructed story of the Water Man Ambrož.”
— Daliborka Podboj, Parada plesa
“The dance-theatre staging reimagines the theme of the water man entirely anew, shaping it into a love story with ecological and social undertones. The core narrative is outlined through concise storytelling, while the stage space is devoted to a richness of performative forms, creating a dynamic and multilayered whole distinguished by playful movement, sound, and visual expression. The inventive use of scenographic elements and sound objects, as well as the diversity of impulses and associations in both choreography and visual design, support a creative engagement with artistic expression. The performance traces Ambrož’s journey and explores life and relationships in both the underwater and terrestrial worlds—imaginative in its development and marked by relevant insights into the problematic aspects of our society.”
